Sand blasting 2

Some problems on pictures...

Before blasting the body, we removed the rusted panels, and opened up all the closed sections in order to remove all the rust. The body was in good condition, although some areas were badly fixed.

The worst problem being at the rear compartment. At some point the rear valance panel was replaced, with some sections of the boot floor. Unfortunalty rust was left untreated under the strenghtening of the suspension pickup point. Now we have to replace the valance again  in order to make it good.

The battery box is also in poor condition, better to replace rather than to fix it.

The floors were also in bad condition. The inner sills were mended a couple of times.

Somebody replaced the left footwell. Again not very nicely.

Rust holes at the sill.

Rust holes at the mid of the A post.

And on the top also.

Holes on the upper sill.

Some in the rear wheel bay.

Rear suspension pickup poit rusted, mended, rusted again.

Front inner wing damaged.

Seat attachment point cracked.
